Edward Wittenberg holds a Bachelor of Arts from La Trobe University as well as a Commercial Pilot License.

He has a long standing association with the northern part of Melbourne’s CBD commencing in 1988, when he became a director of his family business which proudly conducted its manufacturing within several properties all located in A’Beckett Street.

After the noteworthy sale of the business in 2000 and the subsequent sale of all but one of its buildings in 2006, Edward enjoyed a successful eight year career in aviation before returning home to A’Beckett Street and founding EGW Investments.

In 2014, EGW Investments provided the seed funding for a Melbourne based “personal media” start up, Incogo. After an unsuccessful product launch, Edward decided to acquire and self fund the entire company with a vision to steer the concept in a different directional than what was originally planned. In 2016, the company was renamed Lyf App and positioned within the mental health and well-being space.

2022 saw the launch of spin off app, Lyf Support, also positioned within the mental health and well-being space.

Currently, Edward continues both his founder roles at Lyf while simultaneously managing the diverse investment portfolio of EGW Investments.
